Introducing the Award Categories
The Michelmores Property Awards remain one of the most recognised celebrations of excellence across the West of England and the South West. The Awards proudly showcase the region’s thriving Real Estate sector its talent, innovation and commitment to sustainability and community impact.
The Awards, which have long-championed sustainability and innovation, place social, environmental, sustainable and economic values at the heart of its judging criteria. These attributes are considered to be just as important as a project’s aesthetics and purpose.
The categories are:
- Category 1 & 2 – Project of the Year
- Category 3 – Regeneration Project of the Year
- Category 4 – Education Project of the Year
- Category 5 – Leisure and Tourism Project of the Year
- Category 6 – Heritage Project of the Year
- Category 7 – Residential Project of the Year (36 homes and over)
- Category 8 – Residential Project of the Year (35 homes and under)
- Category 9 – Building of the Year*
Building of the Year category
*Please note that applicants will not be able to submit their project directly to this category. Projects will be entered into this category by the judges based on their merit in categories 1-6.
The shortlist for categories 1-6 will be announced ahead of the Award Ceremony. The shortlist for Category 9 will be revealed during the Awards Ceremony on 25 June 2026.
