Meet the host: Josh Widdicombe

Best known for twenty-three series of the multi award-winning Channel 4 show The Last Leg, Josh has had an incredible rise in the decade he has been performing stand-up, with multiple appearances on QI, Live at The Apollo, Mock the Week, A League Of Their Own, Have I Got News For You and Taskmaster to name but a few. Josh also co-hosts Dave’s Hypothetical alongside James Acaster, and wrote and starred in his own BBC flat-share sitcom, Josh. Co-host of the hugely popular podcast Parenting Hell with fellow comedian Rob Beckett, he is also host of cult 90s podcast Quickly Kevin: Will He Score? He has also fronted Radio 5 Live’s Fighting Talk. If he wasn’t busy enough Josh has also written his first book, Watching Neighbours Twice a Day…How 90’s TV (Almost) Prepared Me For Life which saw him become a Sunday Times Bestseller.


The Michelmores Property Awards remain one of the most recognised celebrations of excellence across the West of England and the South West. The Awards proudly showcase the region’s thriving Real Estate sector and the talented individuals and projects which drive innovation, sustainability and community impact.

The Awards, which have long-championed sustainability and innovation, place social, environmental, sustainable and economic values at the heart of its judging criteria. These attributes are considered to be just as important as a project’s aesthetics and purpose.

The competition recognises a wide range of commercial and residential projects, with shortlisted and winning schemes placed firmly in the industry’s spotlight. Submissions are confined to projects, buildings and developments which can be identified as being based in the West of England and South West, including Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Wiltshire.
